13 July 1551, Almeirim – John III forwards a brief from Pope Julius III to the council of Lisbon, concerning the house and Church of Saint Anthony. The brief is not annexed to the charter.
Incomplete document. Although it lacks the brief sent by Pope Julius II, it confirms that the Church of Saint Anthony had the privilege of enjoying the direct support of the papacy, and autonomy in the face of the Portuguese patriarchate and Crown.
